How it works

Travel Insurance Direct is proud to announce its membership of The Footprints Network - an alliance of socially responsible e-businesses across the globe who raise money for tangible, charitable projects to improve the lives of people in impoverished communities.

The people who work at Travel Insurance Direct have all travelled widely and, philosophically believe there is a moral obligation to give a little back to the communities in which we travel. But the question is: just how do you give back in a meaningful way? Footprints is the answer to this.

How Does it work

When you buy your Travel Insurance policy with us, there is an option to make a small donation to a charitable project. This amount is added onto your policy price and your credit card will be billed for the total amount as a single transaction.

Each individual donation is only a small amount - the cost of a coffee or a lottery ticket - but the volume of transactions can be significant. Footprints really demonstrates what can be achieved when you harness the collective power of many.

"If you think you are too small to make a difference, you haven't been in bed with a mosquito"
