Your Certificate of Insurance
It's important youto carry your Certificate of Insurance with you when travelling as it contains important emergency contact information. If for any reason you have lost your Certificate of Insurance, you can get a new copy by signing in to the Travel Insurance Direct web site at any time.
You can find your Certificate of Insurance in the same email you used to purchase your TID policy. However, if you would like to download a copy, you can follow the below steps:
1. Log in to your account
- On the top right, click on My Account
- Enter in the same email address used to purchase your TID policy and click Next.
- You will then receive an email with a verification code. Enter the verification code into the below field and click Continue. The verification will expire after 15 minutes.
If you’re experiencing issues logging in:
- Check you are using the right email address and have typed it in correctly.
- Check your spam or junk folder in your email if you have not received a verification code.
- Check you have typed in the verification code correctly.
- Check you are using the most recent verification code and that it has not expired.
2. Select policy
Once you have logged in, click on My Policy located on the left panel.
If you have one active policy, click on Cancel Policy.
3. Accessing your policy documents
In the Policy Documents tab, you have the following options:
- For a copy of your Certificate of Insurance, click on the Certificate of Insurance button.
- For a copy of your Product Disclosure Statement (PDS), click on the Product Disclosure Statement button.
- If you would like to download both the Certificate of Insurance and PDS, click on Download all documents.
- If you would like your Certificate of Insurance and PDS sent directly to your email, click on Resend documents.
