If you have purchased a policy BEFORE the event occurs and you have to cancel or rearrange your trip to due to the unforeseen natural disaster, cover is available for the cost of your pre-paid travel arrangements such as flights and accommodation if it is necessary.
If you have to cancel your trip due to disruptions caused by the unforeseen natural disaster, cover is available for the non refundable costs of your unused prepaid travel arrangements. We can also offer cover for rearranging your trip before it starts.
Should you be unfortunate enough to be caught up in a natural disaster and become injured or ill, your policy can cover you for the cost of emergency medical care overseas during your holiday. You must be physically be prevented from going on your trip (i.e. a natural disaster has resulted in all flights being cancelled or your accommodation has been destroyed) to claim for cancellation.
