I am World Nomad's Editorial Producer by weekday, campfire storyteller and off-road adventurer by weekend. I grew up in the suburbs of Sydney (where nothing interesting ever happens), and after high school went to university for a Bachelor of Arts in Media, majoring in writing, television and radio. When I started working at World Nomads in 2016, my inspiration to travel grew tenfold. After producing a guide to Nepal, I booked a trip to hike the Annapurna region, and soon after producing a guide to Colombia, booked a three month trip to explore the South American continent with my husband. When I'm not talking to my dog, I'm busy editing content for Travel Safety, investigating the latest on Search Engine Optimization (SEO), or listening to an episode of The World Nomads Podcast. I love finding pet-friendly campsites along the east coast of Australia, taking the boat out to isolated parts of Lake Macquarie, and I often severely underestimate hiking trails (such as the W Trek in Patagonia). I'm allergic to mosquitoes, and dislike traffic so much that I moved out of Sydney to a quiet town up the coast near Newcastle. You can (and should) follow my blog, Where's Mildo.
